5. AI Services and Book Generation

OpenAI (GPT-4 and DALL-E)

For book generation, we use the AI services of OpenAI, LLC (USA). When using our book generation service, your inputs (prompts, topics, descriptions) are transmitted to OpenAI and processed there.

The following data may be transmitted to OpenAI:

  • Your text inputs for book generation
  • Image descriptions for covers and illustrations
  • Editing requests for generated content

Processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment). OpenAI is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Payment Providers

Stripe

We offer the option to process payment transactions through the payment service provider Stripe, Inc. (USA). Your payment data is transmitted directly to Stripe. We do not store complete credit card information ourselves.

Stripe is certified to PCI-DSS Level 1, thus meeting the highest security standards of the payment card industry.

7. Additional Services

Supabase

We use Supabase for user authentication and data storage. Supabase is GDPR-compliant and offers server locations within the EU.

Lulu (Print-on-Demand)

For printing your books, we use the Lulu service. When ordering a print, your shipping data and book content are transmitted to Lulu. Processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment).
